Jim Schoenecker

Jim Schoenecker is a custom woodcarver and woodworker in Chicago, Illinois. He specializes in relief carvings prevalent in middle age architecture. His preferred medium is hardwood including walnut, oak, cherry and birch.
Inspired by European woodcarving tradition, he focuses on recreating what skilled artisans have accomplished for centuries. 
Jim looks forward to working with architects, religious organizations, commercial enterprises, and individuals on their personal projects.
